Bio

K. T. Jarrell began reading romance in the 1970s and found a love for alpha heros, especially those from another world. At that time, the paranormal romance was hard to find, but thankfully in the last 20 years that has changed.

By the 80s, she had married and became a mother. In her free time, Jarrell scribbled plots, characters, and happy endings on scraps of paper and napkins, while toying with the idea that she could write a romance. But like so many others she kept her dream a secret and never followed through.

Since 1984, Jarrell has worked in the film and television industry. Her love for movies and experience on locations led her to become involved in screenwriting. She pursues this love daily and has dreams that one of her screenplays has been optioned.

In 1997 Jarrell became a member of RWA and a Charter Member of the Smoky Mountain Romance Writers. With the help of SMRW members, she began the journey of learning the craft of writing romance and building a career in the industry.

Today, Jarrell has several WIPs with hopes that an editor or a producer will enjoy publishing or producing her projects as much as she has enjoyed the journey of writing them.
